DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
Each player is provided a specialised Player Program. The primary purpose of this program is educating the players on day-to-day management skills that will assist them in both a working environment and in their personal life.
EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE
We assist players to identify what type of employment they are interested in and then create CV’s for them and help them to apply for employment. We also provide assistance in applying for the temporary benefit and how to seek additional assistance.
EDUCATION ASSISTANCE
We assist players to identify what type of further education they are interested in and then assist them with the enrolment & application process. We also provide assistance with applications for Student loans & allowance. For players struggling with studies we look to provide tutors or study groups that enable collective learning.
TIME MANAGEMENT
We introduce players to a schedule system and go through basic time keeping skills.
BUDGETING SERVICES
Once employed we also assist them with budgeting and help them to create a personal budget which encourages savings.
ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANCE
We assist players with obtaining an IRD/Tax file Number, Bank account, Email account, Passport, and Drivers Licences.
LIFE STYLE PROGRAMS
The main purpose of the Lifestyle program is not to do this on behalf of the players but to assist them through these processes and encourage them to take ownership through a process of education and understanding.
SPORTS DEVELOPMENT
The purpose of this program is to support the development of each PSP players’ rugby league skills in preparation for a professional Rugby League career and trial opportunities. We have developed relationships with a number of expert trainers, qualified coaches and development advisors who will assist and coach our players in the following areas:
PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT
Our players undergo physical assessments on a regular basis to monitor their fitness progress. See PSP Testing for more information.
TRAINING PROGRAM
Upon completion of the physical assessment a personalised training program is developed and revised on a regular basis. To get started see PSP Training.
NUTRITION PLAN
This is created in accordance to players lifestyle and also has an educational focus.
PLAYER PORTFOLIO
Created and regularly updated and used to promote the player to potential employers.

LOYALTY PROGRAM
The purpose of the loyalty program is to encourage players to be ambassadors of PSP Management. This is to also to keep PSP players motivated towards obtaining a semi to professional contract. Each player becomes eligible to purchase shares in PSP Management once they have fullfilled their obligations to the Loyalty program.
This program creates additional loyalty once PSP players become contracted players and in turn shareholders.
Essentially the loyalty program is beneficial to both parties – the player becomes a share holder of the company and PSP Management will have greater player loyalty and retention.
Note - the above criteria is used as a guide and all player needs will be considered individually assessed.
