Tom is a hard working and willing to learn outside back. A strong and balanced ball runner Tom has a knack for creating space and is creative with the ball in hand. Tom is an aggressive runner and shows strong potential. Good in the air Tom has some aerial skills and is always striving to be competitive. Tom has a willingness to work hard and to learn to develop his skills. Tom is athletically built, strong in the upper body and is reasonably safe under the high ball. Recently a winner of the Pacific cup tournament held in Auckland in the under 18s grade Tom was a star player having put in some punishing defence against TOA Samoa in the under 18s grand final. A solid hit out especially on attack and naturally gifted in defence. Tom is a strong player with loads of potential to play at a higher level.
Tom also plays volley ball and is an avid Church youth group member. Tom's preferred position is wing however is adjusting to the centre position as his body and confidence continue to grow.
