Rima is a hard working forward. He is a natural born leader and Captain of his junior club team. In 2010 he was announced captain also for his NZ tag representative team. Rima is a disciplined athlete who has a very high work rate for defence and attack. Rima's well known for his work ethic in training and in a game. Rima is a damaging forward who runs excellent lines and has loads of skills. Rima is versatile as he is used also as a stand off. He has developed a sound kicking game however his focus has been in the forwards. Rima has a great hit and stick technique. He can really hurt some opposition players with his well timed hits.
Rima is a talented player with loads of motivation, ability and commands great respect amongst his peers. Rima is a well liked person and often performs with his family in a traditional Cook Island cultural dance group. Rima Kamoe is every junior coaches dream.
