ABOUT REGAN ROPATI
Regan is an aggressive running, hitting and working back row forward who uses great footwork to his advantage. His ability to carve great metres on hit ups have made headlines in the Queensland competitions including numerous NSW rugby league news. A star second rower at the Keebra park state high school in 2009 Regan formed a great relationship with many of his team mates which went on to win the Australian prestigious secondary schools rugby league award, the Arrive Alive cup. Before this time he was working through the Auckland rugby league junior grades and plying his time before he was specifically chosen by Keebra park sports coordinator and coach Greg Lenton.
Regan is a good person off the field as well as on it. Regan has taken his opportunities with a strong grip when provided a chance. This was shown in his representative game for Queensland in the under 18s in 2009. Regan's commitment and work rate is second to none leaving very little in the tank when he comes off the playing field. Regan is a strong runner using his bulky frame to great effect. Regan has a powerful fend and is well known for his surging hit ups. Regan's determination and commitment to be apart of each tackle has favourably moved him in to the loose forward position where he aims to dominante players. His general defence around the ruck play is very sound and he looks to have an impressive season with the in 2009. Regan is now working hard to push ahead of the 'older' players and hopes that through sheer hard work, commitment and a bit of faith will hopefully get that elusive jumper.
