Michael is a tireless versatile rugby league player who gives every game his best effort. A top try scorer and reliable goal kicker in 2009 with the Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles QLD cup side. Michael played a valuable part in the inaugural season with the QLD based team which saw his team win the 2009 Queensland Cup grand final. Michael is a pacey outside back with great footwork, acceleration off the mark and genuinely has a great brain for beating players. Michael is a solidly built player and has experience in the backs as well as a back rower.
Michael is a natural leader and always pushes his team mates to work hard. Michael is an age grade representative and has continued to take his chances when presented. An impressive 2009 season brought good fortune as Michael was promoted to a part time NRL contract with the Manly Sea Eagles NRL squad.
