ABOUT KENNY
Kenny is a humble young man, friendly and easy to approach. Kenny is a hard worker and believes that his leadership and work ethics since arriving to Melbourne in 2008 have been key foundations to his success of late. Kenny was the captain of the Victorian based SG Ball (under 18s) and Toyota cup (under 20s) Melbourne Storm team and shows that through his words and actions at training and in his games he can match it with the best in the junior representative grade. At 17 years of age Kenny had surprised many with his mature attacking ability, high work rate, solid defence, long minutes played and gifted offloading. He definitely has potential to grow in to in to a professional rugby league player.
Kenny comes from a good family where his parents work extremely hard to support him and his older brother Jesse (also with the Storm) with valuable opportunities. There support in relocating the entire family from Auckland to Melbourne in hope of further opportunities for there two sons in rugby league and with employment has not gone unnoticed. Kenny and his brother Jesse are in the Melbourne Storm rugby league system and are trying their best with what the club have offered them. Kenny in his second year with the Combined Affiliated States rugby league team had completed his carpentry course at TAFE. Kenny has found a good balance with rugby league training, school, leisure and family time. His family mean the world to him and showing his talents on the playing field enable his family to know that he is working extremely hard for them.
Kenny has made Auckland junior region and New Zealand representative age grade teams and he without a doubt continues to achieve in what he puts his mind to. Kenny is a good person wanting progressive opportunities with your club so is making the best of the opportunities he currently has. Kenny is committed to securing an under 20s contract which he has done and hopes his form like his opportunities will continue where he one day would like to eventually gain a full time NRL contract with his older brother Jesse. Kenny is a dynamic back rower / prop forward and no doubt will prove his worth as he develops.
