ABOUT JAMES
James has demonstrated a consistent and committed approach to training and has performed at a professional level which should see him play at a higher level. His desire to succeed has seen James become a prolific second rower/ lock or outside back. James has great offload skills, ball skills, adept footwork, quick off the mark speed and offers plenty of attacking flair that has seen him develop from a raw teenager to a damaging talent.
James is an enthusiastic trainer and continues to lift well above his strength, cardio limits and displays thorough technical skills on the field. James is a talented player who leads from the front and is influential to many of his peers. James has a high expectation on himself and those around him. These strong characteristic enabled him to excel through his representative experiences. To date trialing and being selected for the Junior Kiwi’s under 18’s representative team in 2007 has been amongst highlights for the young forward. James is a genuine emerging premier grade level prospect and deservedly so. In 2009, James played outside NRL half back Todd Carney as a centre with the Atherton Roosters in the Cairns local league eventually becoming minor premiers and grand finalist.
James is an inspiration for other players in the professionalism he displays in himself and commands amongst his peers. James has worked extremely hard in building his athletic frame and has complemented his playing ability with his selections in to regional and national selection representative teams.
