ABOUT JAMES
James is a ruggedly strong utility forward player. A growing potential with good playing ability James is a solidly built prop forward from the Pakuranga jaguars rugby league club. In 2010 for his local club James showed good speed off the defence line, reliable defence and a commitment to cart the ball up every set of six tackles. James is a hard working, committed to training, talented athlete who has had his fair shares of injuries in recent years. A strong runner who has a good work rate and a good work ethic James shows a willingness to learn and to become a well rounded rugby league player. His busting runs shows his ability on attack where he uses good speed, vision and footwork to help his team build momentum. James is technically sound as he goes for the quick play the ball and tends to carry multiple defenders whilst gaining ground. Injuries have marred his early chances to trial for junior representative teams in recent years however, James commitment to rehabilitation and to get to full health shows how much the opportunity means to him. More recently James has been selected for the Auckland Maori and Counties Manukau junior representative teams. James is preparing for a solid injury free 2011 season and no doubt will make heads turn on the playing field after a solid pre-season training schedule.
