Dario is a strong prop forward / second rower. A huge man with a great work rate for attack and defence. He is strong with his hit ups and has great off loading ability. He is a consistent player who will play to a high standard week in, week out. Dario loves the physical battle of the forward pack and with good footwork and speed shows great potential to play at a higher level. Dario exposes tiring defence lines using good body position, speed and uses good athleticism to great effect. Dario is a player who will grind out momentum and gain yards as expected of the big prop forward role. He has a great attitude to training and is a good leader through his actions and words. Dario is one not to shy away from defence and will look to control the ruck area on defence. He is a smart player who thinks what he will do well before he takes the ball forward. His play the ball is quick and with great affect looks to expose tiring players. His technique is good and because he is a quick learner he will become a much better all round forward with the right coaching environment to learn in. More recently he featured for the 2010 Wellington Orcas Premier grade representative team where he was an influential forward for his National competition grade team.
