ABOUT CHRIS
Chris is a utilty player for his Premier grade club in Auckland, the Marist Saints. Chris has been playing much of his junior grades at half back and has the ability to also play centre or hooker as he has done in 2010. He is a graduate of the Warriors Academy via Sports Education New Zealand. He is a determined young man who shows good ability to read a game and to work hard especially on defence and when his team need him to lift the squad with good clean line breaks.
Chris shows good maturity and has proven his class since his debut in the tough and rugged Auckland rugby league competition in 2009. Chris is a strong runner, a gifted organiser and is a very communicative player to his forwards and outside backs. He is a reliable tackler out wide and shows good line speed off the mark. As a hooker he has good passing to his left and to his right and is very selective when he takes on the opposition defence line. He has a good kicking game from dummy half and in first receiver. He is a perfectionist and is always willing to go the distance with fitness and conditioning. Chris is a an ultimate competitor and will only continue to improve.
