A stellar season which saw the former Manurewa Marlin junior (Auckland, New Zealand) Jesse Bromwich collect the 2011 Melbourne Storm Rookie of the Year award alongside team mate Gareth Widdop. The starting prop forward can hold his head high in 2011 after a 2010 season halted by the salary cap situation. Jesse has had a near perfect off season in which he grew in to the character he is today with the support and guidance of older and experienced team mates Bryan Norrie, Troy Thompson, Jamian Lowe and Adam Woolnough. Jesse has scored a number of stellar tries (see below) for the Storm and proved a handful for opposition defenders which was kindly acknowledged with his nomination for Dally M prop forward of the year and Kiwis train on squad interest. 
Jesse has contributed to a team that showed great courage, consistency and a sense of pride for those involved with the Melbourne Storm. Jesse has enjoyed his 2011 season and will feel much more confident going in to preseason training in November knowing what lies ahead of him. Jesse is currently in New Zealand relaxing with friends and family and will be involved  as well as participate in PSP Training and Testing sessions in the next few months. Please keep an eye out for Training and Testing session dates.
