Amosa has been a revelation in 2009 with the Auckland rugby league under 18s competition in 2009 and has been a notable try scorer for his beloved Manurewa Marlins under 18s club team. Amosa is a very committed trainer and has been working on getting the small things in his game improved. Amosa is very strong with dummy half runs and is a good communicator outwide. With good speed and footwork Amosa has learnt not to play the crash bash footie but is happy to take runs when his forwards are tiring. His versatility is a majoy plus where his Auckland team have benefitted from his ability to play in so many positions. Amosa is solid and his defence is reinforced by a great skill in returning the ball and gaining maximum metres. Amosa's desire and determination are key factors in his return play, and his quick pace enhances his footwork skills. Those qualities make him perfect for wing or full back. |

Amsoa is a talented outside back who is capable of taking on the high balls and manages to put himself in really good jumping positions for the high bomb. His high leap is complemented from his his school athletics experience in the high jump. Amosa is a good reader off defensive lines and is capable of one on one situations, whether on defence or attack. Amosa is reliable, honest and hard working and deserves a shot at the big time with continued support and development systems in place. Like team mate Lester Enoka Time they have been through junior grade teams and have shown a great commitment, a good attitude and come from a South Auckland club that is a breeding ground for a number of National Youth Cup player's.
